Misumi Makoto, a high school student, is summoned to a mystical realm by the god Tsukuyomi with the purpose of becoming a hero. However, the Goddess who governs this world is not exactly pleased with his arrival and banishes him to the farthest reaches of the land. Tsukuyomi grants Makoto the freedom to forge his own path after he is abandoned by the other Goddess.
